FAQ: Why do we need wedding insurance?

Though you might not want to think about it, disasters can strike your wedding day. From a sudden cancellation to stolen gifts to a damaged gown, wedding insurance can help protect you against the unforseen, and can also afford you great peace of mind.

Wedding insurance is always a good idea but must for a destination wedding. The price of a wedding insurance policy for a destination wedding varies depending on the amount of coverage. Most policies cover the following:

Weather. If your wedding must be postponed due to bad weather, your insurance should cover the cost of rescheduling. This is especially useful for Florida or the Bahamas during hurricane season. But remember, a few drops of rain isn’t going to qualify. The inclement weather must so bad that your wedding can't be performed or the majority of your guests won’t be able to attend.
Physical injury. If you, your groom, or other essential members of the wedding can't make it due to injury, illness, or death, your deposits should be covered.
Vendors. If any of your vendors don’t come through, you can recover some, if not all, of the costs of rescheduling.
Additional riders
Military. If you or your groom is in the military and one of you is called to duty, all deposits will be covered.
Wedding attire. Should your airline lose your gown or your tux rental store goes out of business, the cost of damages will be reimbursed.

Gifts. Sometimes this is covered by homeowners insurance. If not, this additional coverage will protect against damage or theft.

Chios Wedding

Fabulous weddings only happen once in awhile! The magical aura embracing the fifth biggest island of Greece, floating on the eastern side of the Aegean Sea, a short breath from Asia Minor, was the backdrop of a truly unforgetable Greek-American wedding. A gorgeous wedding in Argentikon Estate in Chios Island, the wedding of Lindsey and Steven June 2013!

Wedding in Mykonos: Wed with the rich and famous

Love to have a vivid, extraordinary, glamorous wedding?
Mykonos is the ideal choice for your destination wedding if you want to get married where the rich and famous or the international jet set organize their weddings and holidays. The most photographed and popular part of Mykonos are the wind mills just a breath away form Little Venice.

Mykonos is the most cosmopolitan of the Greek Isles, accessible via a 45-minute flight or four-hour ferry ride from Athens. As part of your festivities, charter a private yacht to take your group to the nearby island of Delos, the mythic birthplace of Apollo and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Back on Mykonos, spend some time in the Little Venice area, where colorful buildings suspend over the sea and a bevy of hip restaurants offer cool drinks and views of incredible sunsets.

Wedding in Rhodes: Historic location and stunning views

Whether you are seeking a small, intimate wedding –  or a large and extravagant occasion, Lindos village in Rhodes is the destination to making your dream come true.
The wedding group can be accommodated at a beautiful boutique hotel on its spectacular position overlooking the Aegean. We suggest that additional guests may be housed at  the heart of the village, a 10 minute walk away.
The beautiful picturesque Saint Dimitrios and Saint George chapels are suggested for your wedding ceremony, situated right below the Acropolis of Lindos, with breathtaking views of Lindos harbor.
Also you may choose for your ceremony the ornate garden area of the hotel with view at the Aegean sea.
Please feel free to contact our wedding planners for a full list of available services to you and your guests according to your needs and budget.
