Wedding Mood: "Mamma Mia" | Traditional Wedding in Santorini

An authentic traditional in all senses of the word place, it gives you the feeling of a “Mamma Mia” wedding. The most charming traditional settlement of the island located on the central plains of Santorini with arched or cave houses, narrow streets and whitewashed chapels.

The beautiful village of Megalochori makes a welcome and peaceful alternative to the busy tourist attractions of Fira, Oia and the jostling of the summer crowds. Protected from the strong Cycladic winds, the traffic free winding lanes lead directly to the village square with its pretty churches and picturesque Venetian bell towers.

Your Wedding Ceremony can be contacted in one of the lovingly restored to their original splendour villas and mansions, retaining the original layout and traditional features light and simple, antique yet very much in keeping with contemporary taste. Combinations of the old with the new, these traditional villas provide all that is luxurious and beautiful.

Your wedding reception in a yard overlooking the main square of the village, the tables sit under the cooling shade of charming colourful pergolas accompanied with live traditional music.
Superbly presented, authentic Greek recipes from all over Greece, in addition to Santorinian specialties, are prepared with the freshest, seasonally abundant ingredients from local markets.
